How will it help my business?
Traditionally, the implementation of a new phone system installation would cost you anywhere from $2000 to a $30,000. The project itself would take weeks to implement. During this process you will have to deal with any major phone provider, DIDs, hunt groups and the cost of the telephones. If you need additional features like "forwarding, music on hold, etc." you will have to pay additional money and we haven't even mentioned the cost of the new phones.
The implementation of a new phone system with Gatevox will cost much less than a traditional PBX, many times 50% less. After that the individual phones are connected. The entire process is usually completed within hours. The simplicity of this process stems from the single phone system and call provider approach which allows both ends of the architecture to be configured simultaneously. Bottom line - you pay a flat rate per phone with unlimited minutes (we have a soft cap of 1500 minutes per phone or extension but the cap can be negotiated based on your wants and needs).
This is largely due to unlimited domestic calling, reduced international rates (most are less than 5 cents a minute) and because remote offices and remote employees are now available as local extensions via the GateBox Virtual Network. To completely leverage the power of VoIP it is best to use the VoIP system provided by Gatevox with special equipment (SIP telephones). Even after buying all new phone equipment most Gatevox customers spend less money from the very first month for the phone system and phone service than they have been paying the traditional phone company for the service alone. Our competitors all have chosen to architect their solution to be on average twice as expensive as the combined system and service cost of Gatevox.
The GateBox system has all the features you would expect in a business grade PBX and supports up to 50 extensions per DID. Our monthly service fees are half of that offered by the traditional phone company. Unlike many hosted PBX providers that do not provide the Internet phone service we control both ends of the call path and in most cases we can provide superior quality and unmatched reliability without the high cost of a T1 connection. All you need is a Business DSL or a cable modem to connect to the internet. We will take care of the rest.
